Bluebird

"Growing up on a farm in northern Alberta, I spent a great deal of time alone. Much of my childhood was shaped by imagination, creating stories, worlds, and possibilities beyond the boundaries of my surroundings. Looking back, I can see that many of my paintings still emerge from that same place. In many ways, imagination became a form of survival.

Bluebird feels like a glimpse into one of those imagined worlds. Part dreamscape, part fairy tale, the painting combines luminous flowers and a vivid blue bird to create a sense of wonder and possibility. There is a quiet optimism at its heart and a belief that even in difficult times, beauty can still be found."
