Saltwater

"Saltwater continues my exploration of the colours that exist within skin. Inspired by years of studying how light, emotion, and environment influence the human figure, I use unexpected colour to create a sense of life beneath the surface.

The landscape references one of the things I love most about Vancouver: the rare experience of standing between mountains and ocean at the same time. In this piece, the figure and landscape become intertwined, reflecting the way place can shape our inner lives. Saltwater is both a portrait and a quiet tribute to the beauty of the West Coast."
